Have you ever had the desire to be a model, but thought it was beyond you because you simply are not thin enough. The fact of the matter is just the opposite is true. Plus size models are in great demand given the fact most women do not have rail thin bodies. The question, of course, is how do you become one?
The first thing to understand is the dolls industry is not an easy one. It can be glamorous, but it can also be brutal. The level of competitiveness and politicking can make a Presidential campaign look like a local tea party. Does that mean you shouldn't go for it? No, but you need to go into it with your eyes wide open.
A word on the basics of being a full figure model. Just like your waif like sisters, you are going to have to meet some basic measurements. Generally, you need to be 5'8" or taller. The first step is finding a modeling agency. They are a dime a dozen or so it seems. The key is to find a reputable one. Sadly, there are more than a few who can be classified as scams. The world of modeling can be glamorous and fun for women of any size. Know what you are getting into and make sure to keep a positive attitude regardless of how tough it gets at time.
